Tender Description
Suppliers wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their
ability to complete the following tasks:
- Electrical testing for the power distribution system for the Project. The Services are primarily to cover specialised testing that is not a function of standard commissioning and testing personnel;
- The equipment to be commissioned includes:
- Six (6) x new substations, which consists of 33kV Switchboards, 6.6kV Switchboards and Variable Speed Drives, HV/LV Power Distribution Transformers, HV and LV switchgear andassociated protection relays and equipment;
- Protection Relay testing for Power Transformers, lineprotection, feeders and bus zones, and
- Material Handling System consisting of electrical field devices for primary and secondary crushers, conveyors and auxiliaries,screenhouse, apron feeders and general lighting & small power;
- Hire of test equipment. The Contractor must ensure its technicianshave available all necessary tools, electrical equipment, instruments and radios necessary to complete the testing. All test equipment must be of a high quality, calibrated and checked for accuracy;
- Support with Isolations and Process Plant commissioning
