Solution advice and costing for Data Management system components

⁠⁠⁠The Department recognises the need to continually build and enhance fit for purpose data management approaches to more effectively support its policy, program and regulatory needs. The Department’s data environment is currently characterised by multiple data sources and inconsistent data management approaches across a range of analysts and organisations. This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to provide visibility to market options for the establishment of foundational technical platforms to strengthen the Department’s capability and capacity to consistently manage data and support analytics across the energy, climate and environment domains.

The Department’s data landscape is broad and includes periodic ingestion of small aggregated data sets to high volume scientific, imagery and monitoring datasets.

It is envisaged that respondents will have appropriate skills, qualifications and experience to provide the services in establishing technical components for data acquisition, storage and reference data management.
