Tender Description
The Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA) is a statutory authority established by the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (RTA) to hold all Victorian residential tenancy bonds including those of residents of rooming houses and long term caravans. Section 429 of the RTA establishes the RTBA as a body corporate constituted by the Director of Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV). The RTBA holds the bonds as a neutral party, as a stakeholder for the landlord and tenant.
The RTBA is seeking to replace its core registry system responsible for the administration, tracking, lodgement and claiming of residential bonds and deliver the RTBA an updated solution on which to meet the current and future requirements of the business, its partners and customers.
