Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Digital and Business Transformation Branch in the Finance Technology and Business Services Group requires the services of experienced Test Analysts to meet the business and department’s needs.
The successful candidate will work as part of an Agile team and be responsible for structured testing across the disciplines of: System, Functional, Integration and end to end regression testing.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business and system analysts to review and clarify business requirements and functional specification documents;
- Work closely with the development team in the analysis of defect causes so as to assist with their resolution;
- Plan and prepare relevant testing documentation using Department of Education’s standard tools, e.g. test plan, test cases, test scripts;
- Define and prepare test data;
- Raise defects / issues and log and track faults using Department of Education and Training’s standard tool, e.g. MTM, TFS;
- Follow-up and resolve outstanding testing defects / issues; and
- Report on test progress and escalate issues when necessary.
