An Expression of Interest (EOI) for the sale of prominent 9.7ha industrial / commercial Land will close on 9 December 2019 3pm.

Stage 1: The 2014-15 State Budget provided funding of $25.2M and City of Ballarat provided funding of $5M.

The project involves the development of land by the Victorian Government to support industry and employment in the Ballarat region.
The Stage 1 subdivision works were completed in 2016. The subdivision included an initial release of 36 hectares of industrial land, construction of roads, services (including gas, recycled water and NBN) and landscaping.

Most of the land sales have been executed and settled, with one remaining lot available. The first land sale was completed in October 2015 with Broadbent Grain purchasing a site of 10.7 hectares for the construction of a $24 million export grain handling facility, with construction partially complete and business in operation. Land has also been purchased by Agrimac, Kane Transport, Westlab, Broo Ltd and Athlegen Limited.
