Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) invites prequalified contractors, consultants for engineering projects and contract administrators to attend a private Industry Briefing for the upcoming Bruce Highway – Townsville Ring Road Stage 5 Project (TRR5).
TRR5 is approximately a 6km duplication of the Bruce Highway located between Vickers Bridge and Shaw Road including an interchange at Beck Drive.
The industry briefing will provide industry stakeholders with a broad understanding of the scope for TRR5, the type of skills required, the method of procurement, the likely budgets available and the timing of the work entering the market, of interest to both contractors and consultants. A call for Request for Proposal for the Bruce Highway – Townsville Ring Road Stage 5 design and construct project was released via Q-Tender on 5 November 2019.
The TRR5 industry briefing is being held in Townsville on Tuesday 12 November 2019 between 14:00 and 15:00 hours in the Great Keppel Room, Floor 4, Townsville Government Office Building, Verde Tower, 445 Flinders Street Townsville City 4810, Townsville. All attendees must report to floor 5, DTMR reception before attending the industry briefing.
