The Provider is to assist Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) in achieving an effective condition assessment, quality attribute data and road network video, as outlined in this Scope of Work.
The provider is to supply all equipment and transport to complete the project, unless specific alternative arrangements are agreed.
This tender has three components. Where tenderers cannot provide the service themselves the use of subcontractors is permitted. It a tenderer cannot provide the service nor secure a subcontractor for any component; it is permissible to submit a tender on any combination of the components. Preference will be given to tenderers submitting a tender on all three components.
Component 1:
Provide a Video with Video Viewing software for the entire road network.
Component 2:
Provide Roughness data for the gravel road network.
Provide condition rating for the gravel road network
Component 3:
Carry out non-destructive gravel depth measurements on 65 segments of road, defined by council. The preferred method is DCP testing.
The applicable section of the Transport Business Process Model has been extracted for easier reference and is attached.
Where there is obvious urgent works required this should be noted and council informed.
