Development Victoria is seeking to enter into a Development Agreement with a highly capable and diligent builder, offering the best available value for money to undertake delivery of 82 townhouses under a split contract model on the Altona North (Alfie) Medium Density Development project.

An open tender will be conducted, bidders will need to meet strict eligibility criteria in order to be considered for the tender. This will include but is not be limited to;

• Experience in delivering 3 or more projects containing a minimum of 50 townhouses in the last 5 years
• Ability to fund up to $3 million worth of construction costs with payment to follow settlement/handover
• Experience in delivering boundary to boundary townhouses suitable for split contracts
• Acceptance of the split contract model, whereby the builder is to enter into a development agreement with Development Victoria, and the builder is to enter into a separate building contract with the purchaser.
• Ability to take set of planning approved design drawings through to construction drawings suitable to obtain building permits.

The successful bidder will be engaged under a Development Agreement with Development Victoria.

The succesful bidder will work alongside the appointed sales agent to assist in preparing all required documentation to launch the townhouses to market as a split contract in early 2020.
