Tender Description
Central Otago District Council invites tenders for the physical works construction of Stage 1 of the Clyde Wastewater Reticulation and Pump Station project.
This is an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process based on an NZS 3910:2013 cost reimbursement physical works contract. There are two phases to this contract:
1. Initial Phase: ECI design input to be priced
2. Physical Works construction Phase: Cost reimbursement based upon agreed rates and margins The designer is Stantec.
As part of the ECI process the selected Contractor will be required to attend at least three meetings with the designer to review and provide input into the design to ensure constructability, manage risks and ensure safety in design aspects are covered in the final design.
The Contractor will also be required to provide input into the construction cost estimate for the design.
This is the only guaranteed scope at this stage as elected member sign off on the final design and construction cost estimate is required prior to any physical works commencing.
