Project Manager

⁠⁠⁠The Department is currently preparing for a significant transformation of its external website presence, transitioning to the GovCMS (SaaS) platform, including new architecture and a content review and rewrite. The project will be a redevelopment of the channel for the first time in over six years.

In collaboration with the Communications team, you will be responsible for project management of communication objectives for the initial part of the project - particularly oversight on a user research piece, development of a content strategy, and coordination of a content audit process. You will also work collaboratively with the Digital Engagement team who are responsible for delivery of the platform’s architecture and technical capabilities.

As a flexible, multi-disciplined and experienced Project Manager, you will be required to plan, manage, coordinate, and deliver the communications stream of the project, performing duties such as planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, risk management, change management, communications, and staff mentoring. Other tasks relating to the core project may include user research reporting, website content mapping and strategy documentation, and contribution to governance and policy development for digital communication within the Department.

You will be consulting with diverse business units and SME's, reporting on progress to senior leaders in the Department, and coordinating with stakeholders.
