Tender Description
Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities (Kāinga Ora) will shortly be issuing a request for Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified, experienced and resourced organisations who could construct the Project - a complex (designed by others), consisting of three towers that are up to 14 stories high, comprising 276 apartments, commercial space and basement carparks. The Project is located at 139 Greys Avenue, Auckland (Central Business District), New Zealand.
- The scope of works excludes demolition of the existing building, as well as Civil Works to prepare the site for construction of the Project. The separate Civil Works scope includes retaining walls and bulk earthworks, and will be completed by others in advance of the Project commencement.
- The purpose of the ROI is to select a number of organisations who will be shortlisted / invited to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a construct only contract that is based on NZS 3910: 2013 with Kāinga Ora Special Conditions.
It is anticipated that the physical works will commence around the third quarter of 2020 and be completed late 2022.
