Tender Description
This Contract comprises of the building works associated with the South Waikato District Council Waste transfer station development as defined on the Drawings and within this Specification including, but not limited to:
· Design of the building and foundations
· Obtaining building consents
· Construction of the floor slab and foundations
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the design and construction of the main refuse transfer station building.
Supply of materials and construction of the building as per the general specification.
In addition to the above the Contract Works include:
· Preparing, implementing and managing the Contract Quality Plan according to the Project Specification.
· General requirements, programming and reporting according to Project Specification.
· Site safety, traffic management and environmental compliance activities according to Project Specification.
· Scope of works specifically excluded are:
· Civil works for the building platform and surrounds
· Final AC surfacing up to the building
