Tender Description
The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tender from suitably qualified contractors to supply additional 4th MGBs, organics MGB (Rural), FOGO kitchen caddies and compostable liners to nominated tenements.
The primary additional waste services to be delivered under this contract are a shire wide rollout of a 4th Mobile Garbage Bin (MGB) and Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) kitchen caddies (with compostable liners), together with a bin lid exchange program for the existing landfill MGB's throughout the municipality.
Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and capable contractor to coordinate and supply all associated goods and services, for the successful rollout of these additional waste services.
Current kerbside waste collection services consist of:
Urban general waste, recyclables, garden organics (approx. 17,500 tenements)
Rural general waste, recyclables (approx. 1,700 tenements)
This is a schedule of rates contract for a fixed term project of approximately six months duration, and is not recurrent in nature.
Tenderers are expected to have capacity to complete the contracted services within the following the timelines:
Supply and delivery to tenements of all additional MGB's and FOGO caddies by 17 April, 2020
Landfill Bin Lid Change-Over Program by 30 June, 2020.
