What we need
Bay of Plenty DHB (BOPDHB) is looking to identify and select a number of preferred suppliers for the supply of Building Maintenance and Construction Services who will form a Panel of pre-approved suppliers for the next five (5) years, across multiple BOPDHB locations.

The panel will encompass suppliers for minor work up to $100k in value; and major work above $100k. Suppliers can register for one or both tranches, any specific town or the whole region.

BOPDHB currently operates multiple facilities across the region that periodically require building maintenance and or construction services. A number of the facilities are owned by BOPDHB, others are leased.

The Whakatane and Tauranga hospitals deliver a range of health related services at different times of the day and night. This means any building maintenance or construction activity needs to be carefully planned to ensure the functional delivery of health services is not unexpectedly impacted. The ingress of dust to sterile environments, significant noise disturbance, and the risk of impacting critical support services (medical gasses, power, water etc) have to be avoided.
