Tender Description
The project aims to beautify the Tasmanian sea entrance at East Devonport to create a welcoming environment, encouraging visitors to explore the North West of the state and experience the attractions available.
This includes:
- Streetscape improvements, including reinstatement of nature strips, planting of street trees, public art and improving general aesthetics along the vehicle route from the Spirit of Tasmania dock to the Bass Highway; and
- Design aspects that encourage tourists to visit and stay in Devonport including signage directing vehicles from East Devonport wharf to the City Centre and Visitor Information Centre.
