OH&S Field Work Review

⁠⁠⁠Bayside City Council is seeking specialist OH&S Consulting Services to assist key departments to effectively manage OH&S risks associated with staff field activities, events and abusive customer interactions. The relevant department activities include parking enforcement, community engagement events and construction site visits.

The requested scope of Services is to:

• Identify and review relevant organisational and department OH&S controls (such as policies, procedures, PPE and work practices);
• Identify external good and leading practices for the management of OH&S risks in similar areas;
• Assess the adequacy of the current controls in terms of appropriately managing the OH&S risks; and
• Identify and recommend necessary changes to controls to ensure robust management of OH&S risks.

The scope does not include routine office activities and does not include work to further develop and implement any recommended necessary changes to controls to ensure robust management of OH&S risks.

However, submitted Quotations should describe the price structure that would be used for undertaking the second phase of work (implementing any recommended necessary changes to controls to ensure robust management of OH&S risks).

Special Note: There is another Request for Quotation issued by Bayside City Council titled "OHS Contractor Safety Consultancy". This is a distinct Request for Quotation from this one. Please read the document titled 'Special Note' attached to this RFQ for information detailing the differences between the two Requests for Quotation.

Any Quotation including the lowest cost Quotation may not necessarily be accepted and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant quoter.

Faxed, emailed, hard copy or verbal quotations will not be considered.
