NDIA is seeking to recruit an ICT Security Policy Officer at a level equivalent to an APS 5. This is a junior role in ICT Security team but is critical to establish the NDIA's cyber security capability. The role would suit someone who is keen to expand upon their current experience into Cyber security.
The role is responsible for supporting and contributing to the delivery of the IT Security functions including:
• Managing first point of contact for Cyber enquiries
• Co-ordination of and ICT risk register
• Assisting IT security policy advice and guidance
• Updating of IT Security plans practices and procedures
• Delivering analysis and problem resolution
• Assisting in delivery and coordination of Cyber Awareness Training awareness as required
• It may be necessary at times for after hours on call work
