RFT for Contract Settlers Road and Yankee Pavement Rehabilitations

⁠⁠⁠The scope of this contract is for the supply of all plant, labour, materials, quality assurance, as-built drawings and incidentals necessary for two separable portions of works within the Rotorua District, including the following:

• Site Clearance
• Earthworks
• Drainage works
• Pavement Construction
• Road Marking

Separable Portion A - Yankee Road
This Yankee Road site (RP 1.800 - 2.850) a total length of 1050m, is located between Northern Boundary Road and Rerewhakaaitu Road on southern side of Rerewhakaaitu village located 30kms southeast of Rotorua. Lake Rerewhakaaitu resides to the north and Kiangaroa Forest to the west.

Separable Portion B - Settlers Road
The Settlers Road site (RP 3.550 - 4.100) a total length of 550m, is located between state highway 5 and Birch Road and is approx. 1.5Km north of Reporoa and is at the southern end of the RLC district area.

The Contractor will also be responsible for maintenance of any defects for six months after the Practical Completion Certificate has been issued for each of the Separable Portions.

Tenderers are advised that the Principal reserves the right to vary the scale of the works to fit within the constraints of the available funding for this project. There shall be no claim for a variation, as a result of any change to the scale of the works.
