Tender Description
The University of Canberra is seeking suitably qualified Suppliers who can provide Professional Services for Implementation of Data Classification as detailed in the RFP documentation.
The University of Canberra (UC) has recently implemented new Privacy and Data Governance policy. There is now a requirement to enhance UC's ICT network to mitigate a range of information and security risks, allow staff to comply with the new policy, and enable University wide reporting of compliance. Enhancement will require implementation, under the Data Classification project, of technological capability designed to produce the following outcomes:
- Staff are able to identify what constitutes sensitive information and classifying documents appropriately when distributing them or storing them;
- University staff having strong control over data and its distribution;
- Reduced risk of unauthorised third parties being able to access documents and communication that contain sensitive information;
- Management having visibility of data that is being shared; and
- DITM staff being able to support ongoing management and maintenance of privacy functionality.
