Tender Description
This contract is for construction of a walking and cycling track from the end of the existing track on the north side of the railway line opposite the Colyer Road State Highway 1 intersection at Awarua to finish on Reserve land adjacent to Foreshore Road in Bluff a distance of approximately 16.5 km.
The contract includes stripping of existing vegetation, supply and construction of AP65 subbase and P20 basecourse track surfacing, supply and installation of culverts, new fence construction, design and construction of a railway overbridge. A provisional item for preparation and sealing of the trail with a two coat chip seal has been included in the schedule.
