The Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service are seeking proposals for the Palm Beach Lift Replacement.
The Palm Beach Community Health Centre Project involves the refurbishment of the lift lobbies and the upgrade of the existing two hydraulic lifts. This will involve some structural works to the existing lift shaft headroom to ensure the new lifts can fit within. The new lifts shall be of machine room less type and require access control interfacing.
The access control works shall be undertaken by a security contractor who has been subcontracted by the lift contractor. As there are only two lifts, one lift at a time should be taken out of service for modernisation. All hoarding and safety items required to ensure the safety of the staff and public are to be provided by the lift contractor.
