Ashburton District Councils is calling for registrations of interest for the upgrade of the Salmon Site Reserve Public Conveniences in Rakaia.
This call for registrations of interests is limited to the construction and installation of the new public toilets in the reserve.
Rakaia is the Salmon capital of New Zealand with the river yielding salmon and trout. The reserve is the site of the towns iconic Salmon Statue and a draw card stop over for travellers on State Highway One south of Christchurch.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high profile project alongside New Zealand's State Highway one. Between 10K and 12.5K of vehicles travel this section of highway every day. This facility will be seen and used by a wide ranging demographic of travellers, both domestic and international. This is an opportunity for the successful vendor to have their product seen and noticed from the time of installation well into the future.
