Provision of Retail Electricity inclusive of Renewable Energy

⁠⁠⁠Central NSW Joint Organisation (CNSWJO, formerly Centroc) and their member councils, Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) and some of their member councils, and Tamworth Regional Council seek, by way of this Request for Quotation/Tender (RFX), to identify appropriately licensed electricity retailers, or consortia of retailers and renewable energy projects, to supply electricity to their large market, public lighting and small market sites from 1 January 2020.

The RFX includes the supply of:

• retail electricity
•  renewable energy sourced from large scale project/s
• a market competitive feed-in-tariff

The 18 councils participating in this RFX include:

• CNSWJO: Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Central Tablelands Water, Cowra, Forbes, Hilltops, Lachlan, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin
• REROC: Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Greater Hume and Temora
• Tamworth Regional Council.

To view the RFX documentation, Respondents must a registered NEM participant. To demonstrate this, Respondents are to be listed as a registered NEM participant on the Australian Energy Market Operator's (AEMO's) website, or provide another form of evidence if the Respondent is in the process of becoming a registered NEM participant. Organisations who are not a registered NEM participant will not be provided with the RFX documentation.

Due to the large amount of information contained in the RFX, Respondents are encouraged to view the documentation as soon as possible and ensure they allow themselves sufficient time to respond. No late responses will be accepted.

Please note that all questions for clarification or more information must be made in writing. Respondents should expect that answers to queries that provide additional substantive information will be provided to all other Respondents.
