Dampier EII 14E Shuttle Drive Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Context:
14E Shuttle currently feeds 17E and 18E. It is driven by a cable winch operating through a reduction gearbox powered by an electric motor. The motor, gearbox, and winch drum are all original OEM equipment installed in 1971. The configuration of the shuttle is such that there is nothing that physically locks the shuttle in place when it is operating. This allows the shuttle position to fluctuate due to load imbalances (ore surges) and the shuttle falls outside its position limits resulting in trips and ultimately unscheduled downtime. This arrangement also does not allow operations to know the exact location of the shuttle and frequently results in over-travel of the shuttle which trips out the drive motor.

Scope of Work:
Supply, fabricate and install upgraded chain and sprocket shuttle drive arrangement. This will include structural steel, mechanical and electrical works.
