Tender Description
Warrumbungle Shire Council invites expressions of interest for a purchase of land in the Coolah area and/or interest from the community for opportunities for the use of recycled water supplied from Coolah wastewater treatment works. The land size must be greater than 5Ha.
Possible recycled water uses include agricultural irrigation.
Council is developing a long term sewage treatment and effluent management strategy for Coolah. This includes the potential for new sewage treatment infrastructure and developing an understanding of reuse opportunities in the area.
This will help Council to determine feasible options for upgrades to the current treatment plant.
The expression of interest has been extended until 5:00pm Tuesday, 1 October 2019.
