In accordance with Clause 166 of the Local Government Regulation 2005, Greater Hume Council is formally requesting prices from suitably qualified and experienced persons or companies for the following works.

Tender TL 04 2019/2020 – Drainage and Concrete Works

Kywong-Howlong Road (South Of Brocklesby, NSW)

The works involves the extension of existing RCBC structures and the construction of concrete slabs in the existing road surface over a number of existing culverts. The extension of the box culverts comprises a cast in-situ base slab, placement of crown units and the construction of new wing/head walls.

The pavement slabs are generally cast on ground with temporary DGB transitions to the current road surface. A 10mm primer seal over the DGB transitions will form part of the work.

These works form a preliminary stage of the general road reconstruction in future years.

Kywong-Howlong Road is a relatively busy rural road with a significant proportion of heavy vehicles.

Appropriate works management and careful traffic control which may require the use of side-tracks or traffic signals will be a significant requirement of this project.

A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held on site at 10am on Wednesday, 18 September 2019. Tenders close at 2pm Wednesday, 16 October 2019.

All tenders are to be submitted in accordance with the instructions as set out in the tender documents and be completely uploaded into the Electronic Tender Portal Box at Council’s E-Tendering portal by the date stated for each tender.
