RFP for the Provision of an Academic Course Credit Management System

⁠⁠⁠Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.

ACU has a range of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy.

ACU is seeking to select and implement an Academic credit managment system to enhance how applications for credit and credit precedents are managed at the University. The credit management software will provide a single source of truth for credit precedents and allow for credit outcomes to be applied with speed, accuracy and clarity.

The current credit assessment is a manual process and it is expected that the implementation of a software based credit management solution will lead to enhanced communication to students about the status of their credit applications, among a number of other benefits.
