Free Child Car Restraint Fittings and Safety Checks

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide Free Child Car Restraint Fittings and Safety Checks. The Victorian Government is committed to improve the safety of children travelling in cars.

Correctly fitted child car restraints and booster seats play a crucial part in protecting children from serious injury and death in the event of a crash. This initiative seeks to increase the number of correctly fitted child restraints through education of parents/carers and the provision of free child restraint checks and installations at select community organisations.
