Due to market interest PMNSW has identified the potential for the addition of suitable temporary major attraction(s) in the Darling Harbour Precinct. Several locations have been identified and preliminarily scoped as suitable, however dependent on type of attraction/activity. The most suitable site locations around the Darling Harbour Precinct are; Cockle Bay and the Harbourside Amphitheatre.
PMNSW is seeking world class attractions that are innovative, professional and unique. Furthermore, operators must be able to demonstrate an ability to operate self-sufficiently, professionally and in cooperation with the precinct’s numerous events and with key stakeholders. It is imperative that the attractions compliment the precinct and its surrounds.
The objective of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify operators whose attractions/activities will assist in activating the precinct by providing a distinctive attraction/activity that best meets the precinct audience.
The operators will have proven capacity and experience to operate successfully in their own right whilst adding value to the Darling Harbour Precinct and it’s surrounds.
The EOI is to identify suitable commercial operators to enter into an Agreement for the operation of temporary major attractions/activities in the pre-identified sites (see Item 5) and accepted by PMNSW in accordance with the EOI process.
