Flinders University is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineering Consultancy with proven experience with new medical research and tertiary education facilities, to assist with the design and development of the new Health & Medical Research Building, as part of the new Flinders Village.
The first stage and centrepiece of Flinders Village will be the Flinders Health and Medical Research Building (HMRB), co-locating research, clinical and technological platforms to further enhance the University's existing strengths across health and medical research.
The Structural Engineers will be required to carry out the following:
(a) Structural Engineering (including seismic compliance),
(b) Civil Engineering (including roads, footpath and stormwater),
(c) Wind and Vibration Engineering (incl. CFD modelling, wind induced noise and the like),
(d) Traffic Engineering,
(e) Facade Engineering,
(f) Geotechnical Engineering,
(g) Site Environmental Services (cultural, heritage, fauna, flora and contamination),
(h) Fire Engineer (Calculation and compliance with FRL's determined by Services Engineer),
(i) ESD and Green Star (self-assessment),
(j) Safety in Design (SiD) Workshops and Reporting,
(k) Others as required and relevant to Structural/Civil discipline.
