Performers, artists and workshops Expression of Interest

⁠⁠⁠Moomba Festival returns to Alexandra Gardens and Birrarung Marr from 6 to 9 March 2020 inclusive, celebrating cultural and community diversity via an exceptional program of free entertainment on both sides of the Yarra River.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Performers, artists and workshop facilitators are invited to submit expressions of interest to include their performance in the Moomba Festival program for 2020.

We welcome any of the following act types:

• Professional and emerging performers, musicians, DJ’s and bands from home and abroad
• Roving performers; street theatre acts; buskers
• Cultural and community dance ensembles, artists and groups
• Circus performers; physical theatre groups; sideshow acts; and cabaret artists
• Children’s stage performers; puppeteers, gymnasts, magicians, art and craft workshops
• Installation artists; sculptors
• Workshops and activities

Opportunities to perform at the 2020 Moomba Festival are limited and final selection of successful acts will be the responsibility of the Melbourne City Council.​​​
