Expression of Interest – Local Planning Scheme and Local Planning Strategy Review
The Shire of Mount Magnet is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified person(s) or organisations to undertake a review of its current Local Planning Scheme Number 2 and Local Planning Strategy. The current Local Planning Scheme and Local Planning Strategy were adopted by Council and gazetted in 2013 and therefore a review of both documents is required in accordance with the provisions of Division 5 of the WA Town Planning and Development ACT 2005.
Interested person(s) or organisations are requested to address the requirements of the cope of Works in their submission. The Scope of Works regarding the requirements for the Local Planning Scheme and Local Planning Strategy as well as copies of the current documents can be obtained by contacting Mrs Felicity Anderson, Executive Assistant at the Shire of Mount Magnet on 9963 3000 or by email shire@mtmagnet.wa.gov.au Further information can be obtained by contacting the CEO, Mr Kelvin Matthews on 0417 177 524.
Canvassing of Councillors will disqualify any Expressions of Interest submitted and Council will not necessarily accept the lowest Expressions of Interest received.
Expressions of Interest should be lodged by email to ceo@mtmagnet.wa.gov.au or in writing clearly marked in both instances "Expression of Interest - Local Planning Scheme and Local Planning Strategy Review" addressed as follows:
