Tender Description
Council are seeking expressions of interest from a third-party service provider to run a pop-up bar activation on the Platform on the first Sunday of every month from October 6, 2019 up to and including, September 6, 2020.
The service provider is expected to operate a licensed pop up bar activation within a secured area of the Platform that appeals to a broad visitor group. The bar is to operate for a period of between 5 and 7 hours preferably in the afternoon/evening on those dates.
The proposed bar will sit within a space that will potentially be activated with a number of Council run events therefore it needs to have the potential of being transformed into a unique commercial bar that would not only serve the regular visitors to the site but also the event-goers drawn in by the events program.
Service Provider to provide:
- Bar setup
- Alcohol licence, specific for these events
- All appropriate insurances for the operations, staff, and patrons
- A range of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, water
- Reusable glassware
- Entertainment (preferably live music)
- Appropriately trained staff with valid RSA certificates
- Staff management
- Inclusion of the pop-up in their marketing channels
- Reporting including approximate patronage numbers and drinks sold per session
