Tender ID: 394655
Tender Details
Tender Description
Purpose of this RFT is to source experienced and suitably qualified organisations that can undertake foreshore stabilisation work at Liverpool embankment in the Georges River, at 35.100-35.500 on the Main South line.
As part of Sydney Trains’ Retaining Wall Maintenance programme, there is a requirement for foreshore stabilisation off the Georges River at Liverpool. This area is located adjacent to the rail corridor. The site is located over a length of approximately 200m of steep rail embankment/river bank along the Georges River, directly north of Liverpool Station. Track level is about 12 m (RL12.5m AHD) above normal river level at a bend in the river where the bank has been subject to ongoing scour and erosion during flood events.
A detailed design for foreshore stabilisation has been prepared to improve the river bank’s overall stability and to address river bank scour and undercutting in Area A (131m). Access to site is expected to commence mid-January 2020.
