Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council requires the services of a contractor to undertake the geotechnical investigations for the Manilla low level bridge.
The investigations will involve undertaking boreholes to confirm bed rock levels, laboratory testing and reporting in accordance with AS1726 and AS5100.3. The deliverables include preparation of a Geotechnical Interpretive Report (GIR) providing an assessment of the foundation conditions encountered at the site.
Chemical testing of the soil at the bridge site shall also be carried out to enable the bridge designer to determine the appropriate exposure classification of the site.
Tenders close at 11:00am AEST, Wednesday 11 September 2019.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any quotation and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
