Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
System Administration/DBA with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS SQL Server Integration Services Master Data Management (MDM) experience to work on establishing a Master Data Store (MDS) that integrates with a range of databases including the Data Warehouse along with using the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to deliver data to target systems:
- Develop the new MDS in Microsoft SQL Server for a University Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;
- Work with the Data Warehouse owner to establish the daily Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) of data from Data Warehouse to the MDS;
- Work with the PeopleSoft team to bring data updates into the MDS and sequence those with the other data already in the MDS;
- Using the MDS deliver the integrations required for the University CRM system;
- Work with the ESB team to develop data events that will surface data from the MDS to be pushed to consuming systems including the CRM;
- Work with ESB and Data Warehouse team to develop error handling and replay tools at each point of failure in the solution;
- Work with ESB and Data Warehouse team to develop email notifications/reporting for business and technical teams around each point of failure in the solution;
- Assist the project team establishing the MDS design;
- Provide Monitoring of the system's health and performance;
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security;
- Provide the project team with suggestions and alternatives for solutions;
- Design and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes;
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement;
- Work with the project team to facilitating testing and defect resolution; and
- Work with the project team to create repeatable regression testing frameworks for the MDS ETLs.
