CEDP EOI for Religious Education E-learning Resources

⁠⁠⁠The objectives of this EOI initiative are to assess the possibility of an e-learning provider to design and develop resources for the new Religious Education (RE) curriculum.
The key drivers for undertaking this process is to see if there is an existing provider who can develop interactive learning materials that can be tailored with CEDP content to be a contemporary, innovative, use friendly, cost effective and sustainable support system for the new RE curriculum.

In the scope of this work and as a priority, the e-learning provider needs to ensure that interactive materials and resources are appropriate for a variety of users with:

1. Curriculum Documents - overview and rationale as well as 44 "units" of work
2. Support Materials for Teachers for each "unit of work"
3. Student Resources for Learning
4. Professional Learning Packages for Teachers - that caters for a contemporary understanding of adult learning.

The e-learning resources need to cater to different levels of learner abilities and learning styles, and it will need to integrate with existing CEDP online platforms.

The e-learning Proof of Concept materials should be completed in an initial version by December 2019, with staged progress for the 12 months following this as content is developed and updated.
