RFI Intelligent Monitoring and Control System for Pressure Sewer Networks

⁠⁠⁠1. Purpose & Objectives of RFI

This Request for Information (RFI) is an information gathering process in which Hunter Water seeks to:
1. Collect information and options for intelligent pressure sewer network monitoring and control systems,

2. Confirm technology solutions and providers with appropriate skills and expertise in Low Pressure Sewer (LPS) Systems remote monitoring and control.

3. Enable integration of preferred monitoring and control product(s) and systems(s) into Hunter Water's pressure sewer standards and approved products to ensure that future pressure sewer designs will have the opportunity to deliver the associated benefits on an ongoing basis.

The objective of investigating intelligent pressure sewer options is to enable improved asset operation, improved customer experience and reduce energy costs

The RFI process will be used to provide Hunter Water with information relating to available and potential solutions. It is anticipated that preferred solutions will be shortlisted and tested on a small scale within Hunter Water's existing pressure sewer systems to demonstrate the expected benefits and other aspects of the solution. Hunter Water reserves the right to change this methodology depending on the submissions received and other business drivers.

4. Returnable Schedules
The returnable schedules can also be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the tender title, number, and closing date, and placed in the Tender Box located at Hunter Water Corporation Ground Floor 36 Honeysuckle Drive Newcastle NSW by the nominated time and date, noting the tender must be able to be lodged into the physical tender box deposit slot of 395mm x 65mm.

Late, verbal, or faxed proposals will not be accepted.
