Ballarat South WWTP Lime System, Sludge Holding Tank, Prefermenter Tank and Flow Management Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Central Highlands Water owns and operates the Ballarat South Wastewater Treatment Plant (BSWWTP) which treats domestic sewage and trade waste from approximately half of the City of Ballarat.

This project is required to upgrade the Lime Storage and Dosing system, the Sludge Holding Tank, the Prefermenter Tank, the Balance Tank Return System and the Flow Management system at BSWWTP, with the Ballarat South WWTP operating in compliance with its EPA Licence under existing dry and wet weather flow conditions.

Central Highlands Water requires a specialist wastewater treatment process design and construct contractor to undertake the design, construction, testing, commissioning proving and defects liability of the scope of works and project requirements.
