⁠⁠⁠The University of Adelaide invites you to participate in a Request for Tender to supply the University with the Facilities Management and Maintenance Services in accordance with the rules and requirements set out in this Request for Tender.


ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
The University of Adelaide, established in 1874, has over 25,000 students and 3,500 staff and researchers. The University has a strong reputation internationally as a leading research and teaching institution. 


ABOUT THE PROPOSAL
The University's Infrastructure Branch manages the University's Infrastructure portfolio and provides services in support of the University's learning, teaching and research activities. The Branch provides technical expertise, planning and services for the University's built environment and physical assets to enable achievement of its education and research business goals.
The annual operating budget of the Branch is approximately $55m, in addition to the planned capital program of $200m across the next three years.
As well as offering a large range of services to support staff and students on the University's three main campuses, the Branch also manages the University's significant property portfolio (leased and owned) of approximately 516,521m2 across 503 buildings.
The University currently has a number of contracts to provide Facilities Management and Maintenance Services in support of the University estate and asset portfolio. The Services are managed centrally by the Infrastructure Branch allowing the University to centrally and directly influence service activities, cost, quality and performance across all campuses and facilities. The current contracts will be expiring in June 2020.
The Services in scope are the following Service Lines ("the Service Line"):
1. Electrical Services
2. Lift Services
3. Mechanical Services (Including Building Management Systems)
4. Plumbing and Hydraulics Services
5. Water Treatment HVAC Services
6. Cleaning Services
7. Waste Services
8. Pest Control Services
9. Grounds Services
10. Security Services
11. Car Parking Services
The University is seeking individual Tender responses for each Service Line. A fully compliant Tender response must be submitted for a single Service Line only.
