PTV Bus Depot Low Energy Lighting and Solar Upgrade Project

Public Transport Victoria (PTV) is the statutory authority for the provision, coordination and promotion of public transport within the state of Victoria. Trandev Melbourne operate parts of the metropolitan bus network on behalf of PTV.

The project is being funded by the Department of Treasury and Finance’s Greener Government Building Scheme which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from government owned buildings.

This project aims to reduce the energy consumption associated with use of lighting at Transdev operated bus depots by replacing current lighting with low energy replacements. The project also wishes to install solar PV panels to provide renewable energy for the building use. To do this PTV wishes to receive low energy lighting and solar installation proposals for the bus depots based upon current energy use.
