Tender Description
Tenders are invited for a fixed price lump sum contract for the Replacement of the Malvern Library South Eastern Roof, 1255 High Street, Malvern.
* Provision of internal dust proof, floor to ceiling hoarding in nominated library area;
* Relocation shelving units within library & protection of library furniture and collection;
* Demolition of the existing south-eastern roof;
* Cleaning of the existing roof insulation;
* Removal of the false fibrous ceiling and associated structure;
* Install new roof purlins and battens at the specified spacing;
* Replacement of south-eastern roof;
* Removal and re-installation of roof mounted mechanical equipment;
* Electrical re-wiring to bring wiring in ceiling in accordance with AS3000;
* Reinstatement of shelving units within the library; and
* Reinstate and clean Malvern Library.
The work under the Contract is required to be implemented in the shortest possible timeframe commencing 6 January 2020 for completion in February 2020.
