Tender Description
Council undertakes stabilisation of road pavements and requires the supply of the following bulk products or equivalents
* Bulk Hydrated Lime
* Quick lime
* 60/40 (GB slag-cement)
* 85/15 (slag-lime)
* 70/30 (slag-lime)
* 30/50/20 (slag-lime-fly ash)
Council intends to appoint a Panel of Suppliers on a Schedule of Rates.
It should be noted Council owns a storage tank that is capable of holding approximately 28 tonnes of lime or 50 tonnes of cement. It is current practice for the delivery driver to transfer products from the delivery tank to the Council owned tank. This may occur 2-3 times a day during peak use periods. This delivery/transfer may occur at the Alan Turner Depot, 151-155 Fernleigh Road or at various job sites throughout the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.
