Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The ICT Services Project Manager will undertake the following:
1. Define project scope, requirements and acceptance criteria for ICT Services Branch projects.
2. Develop and maintain project documentation throughout the project life-cycle including project schedule, project management plan, external costing requests, communications plan, test plan, and change plans as appropriate.
3. Manage project related procurement activities, including drafting of required artefacts and running of vendor submissions, in accordance with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework and agency policies with minimal oversight by the OCIO Business Manager.
4. Manage the completion of projects, delivering to agreed requirements, cost, timescales and quality.
5. Identify, assess and manage project dependencies, risks and issues and escalation appropriately as circumstances dictate.
6. Develop and maintain realistic project schedule and resourcing plans for the whole project life-cycle.
7. Provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders including the ICT Committee and CIO as required by circumstances and the project communications plan.
8. Establish effective working relationships with project sponsors and relevant business teams as well as delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and effective engagement in project delivery.
9. Plan and manage periodic project and stakeholder review meetings (as per agreed communications and governance models) to ensure up to date communication of project status.
10. Provide effective leadership to the project team and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
