Forest Stewardship Council Controlled Wood Certification Services

⁠⁠⁠The core business of the Forest Products Commission (the Commission) is the sustainable management and commercial harvesting of the State’s timber assets.  The timber resources include native and plantation timber species which are located in the South West of Western Australia and the rangelands.

The Commission’s Karri forest management unit is certified to the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Controlled Wood Standard (FSC-STD-30-010, certificate code SA-SW/FM-004537, and licence code FSC-C120630). The Commission requires the provision of independent auditing services to assess compliance of its operations with the FSC® Controlled Wood Standard (FSC-STD-30-010).
