DPC-AFC-19-001
The Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) was Australia’s first multi-purpose arts centre, built between 1970-1973. AFC is still one of Australia’s most active theatrical producers, presenting a wide range of arts activities and performances for the local community and interstate and international visitors.
AFC has identified the need to upgrade their Back of House (BOH) Camera, Monitor and Video distribution equipment. This system comprises; Front of House (FOH) colour camera, infra-red cameras, conductor camera, various stage cameras all patched into multiple channels of video distribution via 75ohm coaxial cable across three venues: the Adelaide Festival Theatre (Festival Theatre); the Dunstan Playhouse (the Playhouse); and the Space Theatre (the Space). These cameras service the FOH and BOH areas; e.g. offices, production work areas, Stage Manager consoles, technical areas onstage, latecomers, stage door, and show archival recordings.
