RFT 2019.003 - Mount Barker District Council (“Council”) wishes to engage a suitably qualified Contractor or contractors to undertake its capital works concrete footpath program.
Council will establish a contract with 1 or more successful Tenderers to either complete the whole or part(s) of the Works. Initially the contract(s) will be a term of one (1) year with the opportunity of a 2 extensions each for a term of 1 year.
The capital program includes primarily the installation of concrete footpaths and associated works. This may include the removal and replacement of existing paths or the installation of new paths. The associated Works includes various items that Council requires to be undertaken at the same instance as the footpath construction. This is to ensure not only Council budget efficiency, but also an improved overall project gain for the community. These items include, but not limited to kerbing, minor drainage works and minor Council asset relocation i.e. signage.
