Mosman Council (Council) invites tenders for the carrying out and completion of the proposed Balmoral Baths Jetty Upgrade. The scope of the work includes but not limited to:

General:
1. Demolition and removal of structural components identified in the plans
2. Timber connections - replace 50 corroded bolts with 50 S/S bolts
3. Balustrade - replace 8 timber stanchions (100x100mm), approx. 1.5m in length each
4. Balustrade - replace 2 timber handrails (75x50mm), approx. 2.3m in length each
5. Balustrade - replace 20 pairs of M12 cuphead bolts between stanchion and handrail
6. Balustrade - re-paint (4 sqM approx. area)
7. Miscellaneous works as required to complete the Scope of Works
8. Make good all damages caused to existing structures due to the works

Northern Boardwalk:
9. Replace 11 timber piles
10. Replace 1 timber capwale

Jetty Head:
11. Replace fender piles with 6 steel tubular piles including steel sleeve, fender timber backing blocks, arch fenders and fixings
12. Replace 1 timber capwale
13. Replace 1 stainless steel tension rod 30mm diameter bar threaded at both ends to enable outside M30 stainless steel bolt and washers.
14. Replace 12 mooring chains
15. Remove 24 inner bolts from existing tension rods
16. Renew timber decking at Jetty Head with non-slip surface and yellow edge markings
