The Department of Veterans’ Affairs requires a social media monitoring software to improve its ability to monitor and report on the social media landscape regarding issues affecting the department, to improve the situational awareness of its senior executives, and to inform stakeholders and program areas on public sentiment about a range of portfolio-related topics. Insights gained will be used to craft and recalibrate policies and strategies, and enhance the issues management function of the department’s media team.
The software should also be able provide publishing and scheduling capabilities to platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
