Tender Description
Rio Tinto requires a contractor to undertake the engineering design, supply, install and commissioning of a lubrication oil delivery line, IBC pump stand and bunded storage area at the East Intercourse Island tug pens in Dampier.
The contractor will be required to:
* undertake a review of the company concept design
* provide a detailed engineering design and drawings to Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) standards of the works, for RTIO approval, prior to commencing any fabrication and site work
* create any fabrication drawings necessary to fabricate the bunded IBC storage area, pumping arrangement, pipes and structural supports
* supply and install the new pipework and pumping arrangement
* fabricate and install new pipe supports as required
* remove existing lagged, single skinned oil line
* fabricate, surface treat, pressure test, clean and site install the new piping
* construct new concrete pump plinths and containment bunding to suit the new pumps and existing infrastructure; including scabbling, dowelling and sealing into the existing concrete slab.
* NDT of welding
* dispose of any equipment and materials discarded during the works and
* ensure all works, materials supplied, piping fabrication, surface treatment, welding and structural works meet RTIO Standards.
